With hundreds of mediation sessions and dozens of trials under our belts, we are able to realistically assess risk, advise a public body accordingly, and implement a litigation strategy that fits the situation. We use the latest trial technology in presenting our cases to juries, judges, and arbitrators.
Employment Counseling and Litigation
We represent clients in all aspects of employment litigation including claims of unfair labor practices, grievance arbitrations, wrongful termination, whistleblowing, harassment, discrimination and retaliation. We frequently appear in federal and state court and have successfully tried many employment cases to verdict. We also defend employers in administrative matters including complaints with the EEOC and BOLI. We are available for day-to-day counseling and advice, staff training, fact-finding investigations, as well as handbook and policy review and development.
Civil Litigation and Sexual Abuse Defense
We defend clients in state and federal court in all aspects of civil litigation. Whether hired by an insurance company or private party, we have successfully tried many cases to verdict. We have also represented numerous church and school clients in claims of sexual misconduct by employees or volunteers.
